We are recruiting for Project Actuaries, reporting to a Head of Actuarial in Finance at Zurich Australia. These roles support the actuarial and financial integration of ClearView Wealth and Zurich, ensuring a smooth transition across reporting, capital management, modelling, data and regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for the following:

Lead and support actuarial work associated with the statutory merger, including the integration of actuarial processes, models, and data.

Align actuarial methodologies across businesses, working closely with stakeholders to achieve consistent approaches and outcomes.

Develop and implement new actuarial and reporting processes to meet statutory, regulatory, capital, and Group reporting requirements.

Support financial reporting activities, including IFRS 17 reporting, results analysis, and delivering insights to support decision-making.Assist with purchase price allocation and related reporting, liaising with local, Group, and external stakeholders.

Review and align capital frameworks, methodologies, and requirements.

Contribute to planning and forecasting processes, providing actuarial input and supporting Group submissions.

Partner with data, administration, claims, and finance teams to ensure data integrity and improve understanding of profit and loss drivers.

Build and enhance data pipelines connecting new data sources with actuarial data warehouses.

Support experience investigations and assumption-setting exercises.

Assess actuarial impacts of administration system changes and support related testing activities.

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce reporting timelines and improve efficiency.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- In depth knowledge in applying local statutory/regulatory guidelines and rules in the Australian life insurance industry
- Deep understanding of actuarial processes and techniques in a life insurance context
- Business acumen - understanding of business concepts, tools and processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to investigate, analyse and implement solutions
